The Island of Murano is just a 10 mile boat ride off the coast of Venice, Italy.  Master Craftsmen have honed their glass making skills for over 70 years in the Veneto region of Italy. The Glass Blowers infuse 24kt Gold, Sterling Silver, and Adventurina (sparkling copper) in the majority of the glass.

Each individual bead is hand blown by a Master Craftsman. Many of the pearls (beads) have designs inside the glass that are created by the Craftsman by slicing glass, or sprinkling glass pieces inside other glass, to create beautiful designs. The beauty of Murano glass is that each piece is individually hand blown, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike
